GENERAL:

Does the size of the space matter?

We can design any sized space. However, if the space is small, we won’t be able to fit certain products like a slide.
For Full Service designs, we only take on projects that are full playroom installations. So as long as there is room for a physical play zone, and a few other zones, you’re good to go!

What if my kids are a little older, like 12-15?

We love designing tween / teen spaces! Our SP team willdesign the space to focus on lounging, socializing, homework, working out, games, etc.

I have an interior designer that I normally work with. Do you work with interior designers?

For Full Service designs, we work directly with clients/homeowners, as we do the designing ourselves.
If you are working with an interior designer already, we recommend having your designer sign up for our trade program in our store so he/she can design the space themselves using our products!

Do you order the products for me?

We will include a detailed shopping list with links, quantities, colors, sizes, etc. so you can see where all products are from and so you can order yourself.
We do offer you the option to have our team order retail items for an additional cost.
As far as any custom items included in our designs, our team at SP will handle those purchases, and you will receive an estimate for approval before purchase.

We take the guesswork out, giving you a DIY digital design plan for you to create an innovative and purposeful play space.

What do you give me to hand to my contractor, so they know how to install the rock wall holds, monkey bars, and other physical play equipment?

We provide you with detailed CAD drawings for all the construction areas. CAD drawings include both birds' eye and elevation drawings of your space with all necessary measurements and layout.
Your contractor can find installation instructions on the websites of each product.
We will also meet with you and your contractor for 30 minutes before installation begins to go over any questions about our design, layout, or installation.

For E-designs, how do you customize the space if you’ve never been there?

You will send us photos and measurements of the space, and fill out a detailed questionnaire that will ask you about your children, your esthetic/style, and your hopes and goals for the space.
We use all that information to design your space custom to your needs and wants.

Do you suggest contractors and wallpaper installers for me?

You are responsible for hiring your own contractor and wallpaper installer, but we will meet with your contractor for 30 minutes over Zoom to answer questions.
