SMART-E™ EDesign is our comprehensive virtual playroom design service. Unlike The Playroom Edit™, SMART-E™ includes full 3D renders, conceptual drawings, precise measurements, and complete layout documentation — everything your contractor needs to execute the design with confidence. Every plan is rooted in child development principles and delivered with our signature educator-informed expertise.

Both packages deliver the same level of design quality and the same suite of deliverables — renders, conceptual drawings, precise measurements, layout plans, and two color schemes. The difference is scope. The $4,500 package focuses on a climbing and movement zone with no built-ins — ideal for families adding active play elements to an existing space. The $8,500 package is a full playroom design covering as many zones as your space and your children’s needs require. During your discovery process, our team will help you identify which package is right for your project.

Both SMART-E™ packages include: full 3D conceptual renders, a precise layout plan with measurements, two complete color schemes, product recommendations with sourcing guidance, and a contractor-ready design package. Your contractor will have everything they need to move forward without guessing.

SMART-E™ EDesign includes color scheme revisions. Layout revisions are not included. We invest significant time in the discovery and kickoff process to ensure the layout reflects your space and your vision accurately from the start — which is why we gather all measurements, photos, and inspiration before scheduling your kickoff call.

This preparation is what allows us to make the most of your kickoff call and deliver a design that truly reflects your space. From kickoff, your SMART-E™ design is delivered within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on scope and complexity.
